"Always like the snacks and the breakfast. Found someone flight information stuffed in the ice bucket and the blackout blinds were broken and would not open. "

"Blackout curtains didn’t meet fully in the middle so it made for an early morning. This was the only note I have for the property that isn’t positive. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming and so helpful! Lovely clean room that was well appointed"

"Broken drywall on bathroom floor, old candy bar wrapper in nightstand drawer. Left an item behind and no one would call back. Asked for a cab was told it takes 5 minutes, oh no I was late for an extremely important appointment."

"Can't believe I paid almost $100 for this. The floor was sticky and disgusting, and you can tell that the entire building needs a serious makeover. Even the ice bucket had a crack at the bottom of it. Tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. Gives seriously shady vibes. Save your money. The one redeeming factor was the location."

"Dan was a fantastic host as well as being a very kind person! Rosie, the cohost, might be somewhat intimadating at first glance for some, but she is a very sweet character when you get to know her. Breakfast was made with love by Dan and the whole house is tastefully original as was my room. The area itself is very inviting and parking is absolutely no problem. A stay that will always be positively remembered."

"Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the pressure of the showerhead...something that isn't usually the best in a hotel room. Breakfast selections were numerous and delicious. Enjoyed the evening kickbacks as well. Appreciated the secure parking garage. Only thing not up to par was something was spilled in the hallway that wasn't vacuumed over three days. Overall, a great experience and would 100% stay here again!"

Check-in was confusing — we arrived around midnight to locked doors and had to call someone to get in since staff is only onsite from 8 AM to 8 PM. We were originally told mobile check-in with a credit card was an option, but that never seemed to work properly. On top of that, the $150 incidental hold felt excessive for a budget hotel. "The color thing is interesting, but I would have appreciated more attention to some basics. For example, when I went to turn the TV off, it turned out there were no batteries in the remote control. There were no instructions on the phone that explained how to reach the front desk. There were no USB outlets to I had to find a store that sold AC adapters so I could charge my devices. Also a 4 PM check-in seems really late and I'm convinced that made me wait 20 minutes for no reason. Beyond that,...
