"Everything started out wonderful. The room was clean, the location of the hotel was convenient, and the amenities were as described. Unfortunately, this changed midway through our trip. I noticed someone had used some of my lotion. It was sort of frustrating, but I let it go. Later in the week, while we were out exploring the island, someone entered our room and used our bathroom. They didn’t flush, and visibly used the bidet. I immediately reported this to the front desk who checked the key swipes and insisted no one had entered the room. There was construction on the neighboring rooms (which we also weren’t notified about and they would start hammering and drilling as early as 8am) and we were told they had a master key. There were manual key holes on the door as well which explains why the entry wasn’t logged on the keypad. Because someone entered our room, we had to discard all the food and beverages as we weren’t sure if it had been tampered with. We also didn’t feel comfortable leaving the room because we were worried they would enter again. The front desk agent said he reported the incident to the director, but nothing was resolved. It felt very dismissive. "

"Everyone was very nice and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant room maids health and spa center just one little remark was that children are allowed in the warm pool spa area and it got noisy in the evenings. In my opinion theirs should be a time limit soo customers can go and relax in the evenings on the positive beautiful coastal trails that lead you to the next village peaceful and break taking sunsets and sunrises "

"Excellent service in all areas. Very supportive, welcoming, friendly, helpful front desk staff and staff in the welcoming door area. They are very quick and efficient with their job as well. Creates an amazing atmosphere for guest to want to return to Azores. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices and the staff members serving go out of their way to make your breakfast experience amazing to start a beautiful day. Room is very clean and nicely well done when you return at the end of the day. We used bar service only once for quick bite food and the service was amazing here as well. Food was great too. We would definitely recommend this hotel. 100/100 excellent beautiful welcoming place to stay at. "
