"Easy to find, nice room, bar & restaurant on site. Free parking."

"On arrival, we were shown to the "penthouse", a twin room on the third floor. The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. Floor-space in the room was significantly compromised by a dismantled wooden bed-frame cluttering up the room. The toilet adjacent to our room was ok but we were told that the shower room was not usable so we had to use one on the lower floor (which was for several other rooms). My partner...

"My room was clean, floor boards not finished off under the table - big gap Door handle almost falling off- and key several attempts to check it locked - very loose handle. Noisy in other room - until 1.30 in the morning and then they got up at 6.30 am !!! Staff - friendly and welcoming - No staff any where to be found after arrived until I left the next day Had to leave key in open office area - and feel should be a post box- any one could take the key and go back into the room - I left...

"Bed and bedding comfy with 2 choices of pillows. Good hot water and pressure. Only draw back was the reverse cycle was not controllable due to not having a down button. Temp stays on 25 or you could put it up not down. Had a standing fan fan which we had on all night and heating off. Too cold for windows open. "

"The kitchen and the bar people were very helpful . The reception staff were all great but check in person could have been better . Overall experience good . The telephone in the room was not working and inspite of bringing to the attention of the front desk people , it never got fixed during our one night stay"

"Appreciate it was the hottest day of the year however a dirty old fan as the only source of cooling isn’t really acceptable. Hotel is in a great location, little bit tired but the member of staff on reception was excellent."

"The space was great, in a brilliant location. The check in receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars if the shower head was not broken, but we did manage to shower with difficulty. We reported it when checking out but felt we should have received some form of compensation. We understand these things happen so don't be put off, highly recommended!"

"Fantastic hotel on the outskirts of the city centre. You’re able to take a nice walk into town. We passed the train station on the way into the city centre so easily walkable from there. It’s close to the curve theatre and the parking is included. The breakfast was very good. The staff here were lovely and made this a place I would return to stay at."

"Clean, basic room. Parking was a bit of a nightmare and some rather questionable car parks suggested nearby. Breakfast delicious. Staff happy to help."

"Beautiful building, spacious room, center of the city. This was a great spot, and I’m glad we stayed there! It was a hike up the stairs, so be prepared with your bags. However, the spacious room was worth the hike."

"Could do with a plug socket near the mirror Bar prices a bit high end but overall enjoyable stay would return."

"Parking is excellent, staff are lovely. Our room not so good. The window catch was broken so it was hard to open and wouldn’t close properly, none of the wall lights worked and despite booking the room for 2, there was just 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel."
