"You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked)...

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful!
We enjoyed the hotub and took a quick dip in the underground pool!
We enjoyed dinner at the hotel's Pearl restaurant which was delicious! And before we left, we dined on the explansive breakfast buffet."

"We were here during April. The weather was too cold for the pool. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was excellent. The views cannot be bested. We had a great time. The resort has wine and oil to taste, there are also many other vineyards nearby to sample. The resort is also less than an hour from Florence."
