"Wayne and Sue were wonderful hosts and the flat was in a convenient serene location with great views! However, the listing on hotels.com says it is an entire home and despite clarifying with their agents they said this is an independent cottage. This is not the first time they mislead us. The accommodation was good and the hosts were great but the details on hotels.com is not accurate. If you are expecting a while cottage you’ll be disappointed. "

"A wonderful hotel with huge rooms to stay in and very friendly service. Breakfast was delicious. Enough parking."

"The room was spotless and the team were incredibly helpful! In the night the pub downstairs can be loud, but it wasn’t an issue for us! Lovely location, ideal area to hope about from."

"Great place, the yurt and kitchen cabin had all you could need and was well maintained and clean. Lovely, peaceful surroundings and kids loved the pigs, goats and chickens. Highly recommended!"

"It was mine and my partner first time to st.ives and carbis bay. All I can say is wow.....that place is magical , clear waters golden sands , the views are spectacular. "We were staying as a family of four adults. The location was in a quiet area overlooking the sea in the distance. The accommodation was very specious, clean and well equipped. One bedroom had a small en suite shower and toilet. There was also a bath with overhead shower and toilet in a separate room. We used the apartment as a base, exploring the nearby beaches and villages. The owner had thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the two adults...

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"I really cannot comment on the amenities as we didn’t use any due to being out all day touring. Location was great and rooms were nice and clean. A nice stay indeed!"

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is very dated, desperate need of a revamp. Breakfast was good."

"Stay AWAY! This pub/inn is not fit for purpose and the manager will lie for his own gain bar staff very politely but some of the clientele (undesirable). Kitchen was closed chief had walked out. We walked in and never stayed in our room as it was clear it was not clean we complained asked for manager he never came we left he lied about us not a place I will ever visit again Expedia got in contact with him he lied again so he was paid we are out of pocket but at least we never had to spend more...

"Was little disappointed about shower water keep coming outside underneath glass, it would be ideal if you keep the sofa a little bit clean, there was only 1 toilet roll also cloth airer was hidden underneath bed we noticed that day we are leaving the property."

"Friendly host"

"Property excellent and as described"

"Great place and as advertised with high end fixtures and fittings. Train really easy to St Ives. All parking tight in the area. Coffee shop at the top is lovely and nice to go to Carbis Estate for a cocktail 4-6pm (2 for £20). Would recommend "
