"Stay was amazing at Gabaa! Friendly and available staff via WhatsApp, easy to order food to the room for all meals. The room was very clean and modestly stocked, which was perfect for a short stay. It was a short tuk or pick me call from local restaurants, and easy to book tours through the hotel. The cabins were super cute and felt like a nice escape! It's clean, modern, safe and you feeling totally immersed in the forest/jungle. The staff were beyond polite and helpful, always greeting us warmly - especially those in the dining area. "Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka....
