"Löhnburg is a small town away from most big cities. However, this hotel which has been operated for 190 years by the same family, is amazing. There are many interesting towns around it and it is helpful for people touring the region by bicycle. Every staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is wonderful. It has most of the amenities one would expect to find in a 4.5 to 5 star hotel in a larger city. "

"The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. "Das Personal sowie der gesamte Gastrobereich und das Essen super. Das Zimmer hatte neues Bad, aber die Betten mit der Matratze von vor 30 Jahren….bedenklich. Frühstück für 15€ pro Person ist im vergleich zu anderen Häusern wo ich war auch ein stolzer Preis. Das Fazit: zum Essen immer wieder gerne aber schlafen muss nicht sein."
