"Hotel reception area nice, although the front door was shut so we thought we had the wrong entrance. Seemed a bit odd. Receptionist was lovely. Room smallish, overlooking pub which was a bit noisy but noise is expected in a town centre. Bathroom had a couple of broken tiles but clean. Carpet in bedroom a bit freyed. Furniture a bit dated, however the bed was comfortable and the pillows good also. Only 1 towel on bed but second one was in the wardrobe. Toilet paper poor quality. They do provide...

"Shower in room good. Disposable cups in bathroom were dirty so had to bin them. Staff pleasant enough. But on leaving wanted to raise a complaint and as receptionist had only been there a week was unsure how to handle it."
