"This property is high-end Japanese luxury with elegant yet simple/clean design - meant for a serene break from the noise & bustle of Kyoto, nestled in a lovely mountainous area. The room design is beautiful. The staff are so polite & attentive to all needs - the property manager is always present & a lovely gentleman- each time we would walk out of the property he would run out with water bottles in hand to make sure we carried hydration. We are seasoned travellers & never experienced this level...

"The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."
