"We booked this hotel weeks in advance because it’s a convenient, easy 10-minute walk to the Kia Center. While the room itself was clean and comfortable once we finally got inside, the check-in experience was completely unacceptable. Standard check-in is at 4:00 PM. We arrived after 5:00 PM following a long day of travel in the rain, only to be told our room wasn't ready. We were placed in a queue and told it would be 20 minutes; instead, we weren't given a key until 6:30 PM. To make matters worse, the front desk completely messed up the queue, and we watched multiple parties who arrived after us get checked into their rooms first. Because of their extreme delay, three of us had to rush to shower and get ready for a 7:30 PM concert in under an hour. The location is perfect for events, but management seriously needs to fix their front desk operations. They promised to look into a refund, which is the bare minimum for ruining the start of our trip."

"Despite paying in advance front desk had no record of my booking. I showed them my printed hard copy & phone app. They refused to believe I had a booking. The front desk checked, doubled checked, treble checked & then phoned a manager. Turned out my booking was there but the poorly trained staffed did not know how to use their system and blamed someone else for not doing their job properly. 20 minutes to check-in. I was asked to pay a resort fee (for what exactly?) & a refundable security fee. OK but they also charged the room fee again. I asked front desk & was told that was a pre-authorization that would be refunded on checkout. That was a lie - they charged me twice. The shower water was lukewarm to cool - unexceptable. The electric plug points by the bed did not work at all - unexceptable . Location & breakfast are good. Staff are polite to your face but lie & are hopeless- unexceptable. Room was clean."

"I booked an accessible suite and it was perfect for my daughter and I. It was a lot more space than I was expecting. It was very easy to get around every room in my power chair. The bathroom had more grab bars than I've ever seen in an accessible bathroom, which was very appreciated. We also enjoyed the pool and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to Dr. Phillips Center for a show as well as to grab lunch and dinner, so the location was perfect. We also loved having the Starbucks downstairs. We will definitely be back!"

"They gave me a room with no AC charge me for it. I tried to get my money back. They refused to give it back. The hotel is awful. I wouldn’t stay there. Don’t waste your money. They tried to convince me as an adult that a room said at 60 when I walked in was at 80° to my knowledge and lied and lied and said no no no it’s set right it’s perfect. Everything‘s fine until finally they gave me another room but charge me and charge my credit card and lied to Expedia and did not refund my money."
