"It’s an older property, elevators were slow. The room was big, happy hour was fun, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very nice. They also have a really big lobby and the in house restaurant was good."

Truly, the personnel were kind and accommodating, especially those at the front desk. They were literally checking people in, answering phones, making coffee, and taking bar orders simultaneously and somehow with a smile! Unfortunately the financial decisions of higher ups have reflected negatively on the entire Marriott...

"We registered for an accessible shower with Expedia and ended up with a bathtub with only one grab bar. The manager offered bathmats and a shower chair. We took the bathmats. One of us is 85 and recovering from a shattered femur. The other one of us is 75 either two spinal fusions. At first glance the room is very clean. The carpet, however, is actually filthy and turned two pairs of my socks black on the bottoms. I had to throw out one pair. The decorating is very ugly. There are no words to...

"The entire hotel looked a bit run down if one looked at it up close, but the inside of the room was acceptable and the bed was comfortable enough. There was also good water pressure in the shower. However, one of the handles on one of the drawers was broken and never replaced, and the bathtub needed to be resurfaced. Similarly, the room appeared clean overall, but the water holding part of the coffee machine was so dirty that I could not drink coffee in the morning. Only one packet of decaf...

"Clean and good-sized rooms. Nice pool and very comfortable beds. The most outstanding feature was the chef and the breakfast. Chef Nell and Edwin were wonderfully welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was great. Other staff were just OK. Reception desk seemed stressed and/or under-staffed. Housekeeping did not attend to our room at all during our 2-night stay and we had to request towels twice. But overall excellent value and would recommend to others."
