Perfect place for family trip

Perfect place for family trip. Nice location to go any attraction by walks, only needs 10~20 minutes for most of famous places and delicouse restaurants. Appreciate all kind staffs and will stay again surely !!!

The property is situated in a really central place in District 1 with access to a decent-sized minimart right within its lobby area and also several cafes within 1 min walking distance. The room itself is visibly aged but all equipment are working well, including the washer/dryer and microwave in the room. Facilities on-site were well staffed and well maintained. The gym and pool were a delight to use and the gym staff were all pleasant and attentive in their service even in the hot sun. The one star deducted was because during our stay the resident lounge was still under renovation which meant we could not use that facility. It also meant that there was some constant renovation sounds and some messy hoarding on the ground floor. That said, I would definitely consider staying here again for a trip to HCMC.

The size of our room was perfect - 2 bed 1.5 bath, full kitchen and living area. Great location - AN Spa nearby was awesome. Market attached to property. Pool was fine. Gym was solid compared to what we’ve seen on our travels through Asia on this trip. Reasonable walk to Ben nghe market, Nguyen hue walking street, Saigon Centre and other locations. Staff was very nice. Combo washer dryer in the unit as well - which is a huge bonus when you’re on an extended vacation. Overall solid experience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and facilities were perfect and clean and had everything we needed. We stayed for a week and felt at home and enjoyed relaxing time. There is a supermarket on the ground floor, lots of local eateries nearby and grab taxis pick you up in less than 2-3 minutes. I strongly recommend this apartment.

I absolutely loved my stay at Somerset Chancellor Court, the studio suite I stayed in had everything I needed, including a washer/ Dryer, microwave, stove top, large fridge with freezer. The staff are amazing❤️to all, especially Chloe, Annie, Windy and Jane, thank you for making me feel so welcome, I would definitely recommend these apartments for anyone visiting HCM City❤️🙏

Good size units that are clean, albeit the decor is a bit outdated (remnants of 90s/early 2000 design). The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the property is good value for the money. The major pitfall was the fact that the property is undergoing exterior renovation, which we were not aware of before arrival. This meant that we were not able to use the balcony, leave the blinds open, nor open the living room door during the entire stay, which defeats the purpose of staying at a service residence. The property did not offer any form of compensation nor shown any gesture. The pool was nice but there was no shade to rest under after a swim. The property sits adjacent to the US and French consulates, and there are quite a few local food establishments nearby, along with a mini mart (Aeon Citimart) and a local coffee chain (Phuc Long Coffee) on the first floor of the property. There are also two 24 hour convenience stores (7-11 and Lawson’s) within 50 feet of the property. We opted not to eat breakfast at the property as we wanted to experience local food, which were plentiful and very affordable.

We stayed one night at this hotel before leaving to the airport the next day. The room we stayed in was spacious with three sleeping rooms, a large kitchen, large TV area, and laundry room. There was also a larger balcony facing the pool. The rooms were a bit older than the pictures but were in general very good. The pool area was nice with provided floation devices for children, and they had a complementary service with free coconut drinks when we were there. There was also a gym which we didnt use but it looked nice. The staff was helpful with all our requests. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to the zoo, independence palace, Notre Dame cathedral of Saigon, if you dont mind walking 15-30 min. Overall, we would recommend this hotel. Good value for the price we paid.
