"We had a very friendly welcome and after that the staff were always smiling and helpful. The room was lovely, looking out onto the courtyard, and clean. The radiator in the bathroom wasn't working (we were offered a different room but declined as we'd already unpacked) and handrails in the bath would have been helpful but we managed. They are clearly gearing up for Christmas and the tree in reception was beautifully decorated. The hotel itself is 14th-century, quirky and full of character and...
