"I really tried to like this location for what it was - close to the ocean. The stained furniture in the room, the filthy pool/hot tub area, the lack of any way to get a bottle of water or soda to your room, destroyed any chances of me coming back to this property. "

"This property is really close to the beach, which was a big plus. The place itself is old and needs repairs, but it was clean. I also like the fact that it has a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and stove in case I wanted to cook. Lots of places to eat nearby that were walkable distance. Great stay for the price"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Riptide. It’s an outdated building but is kept up well. Check in was a breeze! I was even given a quick tour. The coffee window is quite nice for morning coffee. The amenities are great including beach chairs etc. Would love to stay here again. "

"We had a lovely stay at Laguna Blu. The highlight is the location which can't be beat. You are one row behind the beach which is ideal, less front row commotion but still close. The unit is spacious and very clean. Marco responds quickly to any request, our umbrella was broken and he had one delivered to us the next day. The only reason I have one less star in description is because you can't lift the blinds as it shows in the picture, for someone who doesn't live near a Beach, seeing the water is a highlight. The price is high but comparable to everything else in the area, you are paying for the location. It's extremely convenient to make my coffee and go to the beach and have the availability to go back and forth when needed. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen and the space are great. The shower is small, just as described. Overall we had a great experience from start to finish, Marco was kind and always accommodating. I would definitely return. "

"The best thing about this room was the deck area outside of our room. It was interesting and enjoyable, very beachy. It was an approx 1 block walk to the ocean and boardwalk. However, the room was not clean. Bathroom was gross. Ran out of toilet paper. Room was dusty. Bed was clean and fairly comfort thank goodness. And they left beach towels to use, which was nice. We had dishes but no soap To wash them. One ice cube tray and no way to get ice. Pop machine on deck was out of order and management was unwilling to put sign on it since it did not belong to the motel. No one was in the motel ever to ask questions. Lots of trouble locking the door with no one to help. Other guests also complained of lack of cleanliness. Would I stay here again? NO WAY."

"Can't beat the price for the location. My son counted 75 steps from the front door to the sand on the beach. Not a ton of amenities, but no complaints from our family considering the price, location, and nearby entertainment within walking distance. Would stay again."
