"I have stayed at the Peacock a few times now as the location is stunning and the rooms never fail to disappoint. They are clean and the bathrooms always have the wow factor. The food in the restaurant is also great, the only downside was the service, we didn’t get our wine for over half an hour and had to ask three times for it from different staff. However I will be back again! "

"The staff was very welcoming. But the rooms are old and not everything was clean (hair in the shower, coffee stains on the wall, etc.). First room I got,102, is a special needs room, I guess that was the only one available. After the first night I started getting headaches because of a very strong musty smell. "The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. "Unfortunately no staff on reception at any time so no help when you need it. Had to find my own key to the room when arriving late as no porter around. Food very good though and room clean"
