" I loved everything about Judges and would stay there again in a heartbeat! I stayed in a Character Double room. It was extremely spacious, had comfy bed and pillows, a view of the Minister, and a bath to soak in. "Great stay in a great pub/inn in a lovely village. Originally we were looking for somewhere near York and picked this place at random – so got lucky. Decent-sized, comfortable room, the beer 'proper' Yorkshire, and the food was excellent throughout – we could have eaten almost amything on the quite extensive menu. "Nice rooms. Bathroom too small for me unfortunately. Pub looks a bit tired and could do with a makeover. Steps to rooms are metal fire escape outside at the back but treads not deep enough so be careful walking down them. Good atmosphere."
