"This is a no-frills motel with no vending except an ice machine, BUT the service from the staff (I assume it’s the owner and family, as they’re always there) is top notch. We enjoy staying at Alpine. The rooms are clean and have a good amount of space. If you’re just looking for a good night’s sleep at a good price, this is a great place. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant, Puerto Nuevo, next door, as well as a good Italian restaurant. Several stores and restaurants around, too. Abingdon is a beautiful town."
"Staff was rude throughout stay- it felt like out was an inconvenience to them that you were there. Breakfast was put up 45mins before it actually ended. Will not ever stay here again. "
"We absolutely loved it here..The only thing I can really say was the pool wasn't heated, but I understand this happen the heat pump could have stopped working I didn't even worry about it we just enjoyed the Hot tub it was very pleasant..The staff was great especially Amy she was very accommodating we will definitely be going back😊"
"First of all the picture of the facility is NOTHING like the check-in area or any other place in the building. I was disappointed with the accommodations...they were marginally adequate.
The desk staff was helpful and courteous which was a big plus."
"The room had clearly been updated with a clean and modern look. The bed was memory foam and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was only a short distance from Breaks Interstate Park. There is a convenience store across the street and also a breakfast diner but it wasn't open yet for the season. I loved that it was so quiet. We got the room furthest from the stairs and the area where people can smoke outside and sit around a fire pit. It looks like a nice place to meet other travelers though during the high season. Only negative was it took a while for the water to get hot in the shower but it did get hot and was fine. thanks for a great stay!"
"Upon arrival, there was a big brown stain on the bedspread was not offered another room. The room smelled of mildew and had plaster peeling off the wall, ask for a refund and was denied by the manager of the facility. Hotels.com was no help at all."
