"A great kitchen and lounge area troubled only by noise of passing traffic, but this died down at night, and, if the dishwasher was run, the drawbacks of open plan living were clear so I ran it at night and wasn't troubled. A nice quiet bedroom ensured a good sleep and I could figure out how to use the TV in this room! I will be happy to revisit this site as it was convenient to walk into Filey from and it would have been possible to walk to Bempton Cliffs too."

"This place is perfect for a chilled out couples getaway. Aptly named The Hygge Out, it really emboidies all that is Hygge; from the clean asthetics and peaceful location to the 'back to basics' concept, albiet luxurious with the stove and hot tub being wood fired! The owners were downright lovely. Communication beforehand was great. They gave clear instructions for how to find the location and of any extras we might be interested in. Upon arrival there were concise instructions for use of the stove, hot tub and big green egg as well as notes about the onsite shop and checkout procedure. The pod itself was cosy and nicely furnished with everything you'd need for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean, including the hottub and patio. Being in the middle of nowhere, or so it felt, really gave us the opportunity to completely unwind and enjoy each others company. We will 100% visit again, thank you for a lovely stay."

"This is a real find!! The Hotel, the hosts, the food and the service are all superb!! Andrew and Lucinda went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful break. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well kitted out with everything we needed. The breakfasts and the young lady who served us on one of the days were brilliant "

"House is good , but the outside park quite expensive for the activities.There is a warm and nice house for short holidays. And the owner has already prepared many snacks and drinks 👍. I will book again!"

"A beautiful house, with a spacious and comfortable room - with a massive bath! (We paid extra for the room with a bath and we’re not disappointed.) It was wonderfully peaceful and felt so relaxing. The bed was very soft but we nevertheless slept really well because of the lovely atmosphere, quiet and airiness of the room. Friendly and professional staff. Nice breakfast - they accommodated me being veggie and asking for beans although it was not on the menu. Sadly brought fried rather than poached eggs, but we didn’t mention it at the time as staff had been so good to us already. Loved the coffee, Definitely recommend! "

"Me and my children stayed and i have to say i was super surprised after reading other reviews. I found nothing wrong our stay it was clean our room was light and airy the staff were lovely and its 2 minutes from the beach. Il definitely be booking again! Thankyou."
