"We liked the proximity to the train station and in walking distance to central Shinjuku and Koreatown. It's in a residential neighborhood very close to the trains. The noise wasn't bad, but sometimes noise from residents on the streets below could be a bother. The lack of a front desk and person was strange but we got used to it, and the staff were responsive. Our space was good for a family of four but there wasn't much room for luggage and the spaces were small for anyone with a bigger frame....

"Quiet, respectful hotel with plenty of privacy, and not too cramped. The rooms are small and personable, but the bunk interiors are huge and private. Way better than being stacked like a commodity in a grocery aisle. Nice mix of local and travellers."

Pros: digital access, bigger room compared to other Tokyo hotel rooms, ac, internet, kitchenette, laundry machine in room, some free toiletry amenities, lots of towels, tissue and paper towel refilled, plenty beddings available, location very convenient for shopping & eating, quiet, metro stations closeby including Tokyo station, staff very friendly, can buy bottled water at front desk for 50¥…
Cons: only 2 dining chairs, flimsy in room safe did not work,...
