"If you are wanting to get in the beach water this is not the place. The water was very dirty. The room itself was beautiful and the view was beautiful. Checkout was a headache they probably should offer the champagne for checking out process. The restaurants were nice but I had better food exploring other restaurants outside the hotel."

"This hotel is wonderful. So cute and homey with a beautiful garden and great beach. The rooms are large and have good air conditioning. The hotel includes a hearty and tasty breakfast at Loretta’s Restaurant and Beach resort and access to their beach. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The beach has nice sand, good swimming area, snorkels and kayaks. The food there is excellent. We did not even go anywhere else during our 5 day stay! "Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. "The room was super cute and clan. The only thing I found dirty was some dishes in the cabinet. But we quickly washed them. The little boutique hotel is very central. Not too far from the beach. About a 10-15 min walk. But they offer a free beach pass to a beach club. So you get a chair and umbrella. That was so awesome. We spent two days at the beach.
