"We just wrapped up a fantastic 5-day stay at Villa del Palmar Cancun, out in the Isla Mujeres continental zone just north of Cancun, and it was among onr of the best resort experiences I've had.
We've traveled a lot and seen all kinds of all-inclusives in different countries, and the standards vary a lot. This place sets the bar. The resort is beautiful. Our room was super clean, spacious and very modern. The food was fresh, delicious and there was a great variety, desserts included. The service was excellent from start to finish. We also checked out Garza Blanca next door, which is part of the same group, and it was just as impressive. Two for two.
Zamá was fantastic. Big shout out to Angel and the chef at Davino for a great Italian dinner. We got great help throughout the stay from Lena, Gwendoline, Edna and Isabel. Raul and Jorge at Bite Bar took great care of us too.
What impressed me most was housekeeping. They were on point the whole time. They came through for cleanup constantly, did turndown service, and were always tuned in to what we needed. We never had to ask for anything.
One tip: book the snorkeling trip out to the reef marine park. It's absolutely worth it, especially if you're in this part of the world.
We were really, really happy here and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
