"The good: location on the water, kayaks available for use, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed/mattress.
Could be improved: Cable and internet weren't working, the front desk isn't staffed regularly (but it seems like they are trying to improve this). In general, I think the place seems to be in transition and so there are some hiccups. That said, the staff were friendly and trying to make sure that customer's needs were addressed and staff could be reached (by text, if not in person)."
"Beautiful view, Excellent Staff. Room was very clean with deck nearby to enjoy boats and views of the lake and landscape. Breakfast bar was hit accessible coffee all day. Will be back, strongly recommend!
Plenty of privacy and met great guests! Thank you!"
"Updated and nice property that was close to everything. The room was updated, the grab and go breakfast was nice and I liked the filtered water bottle filler. The pool looked clean but too cold for my family at the time we went. The microwave and mininfridge were great too. Only drawback was the walls seemed thin, we were on the 2nd floor and anytime someone walked by you could feel and hear it and we could hear our neighbors. One had a dog that whimpered at 6am each morning but overall it a comfortable place to stay."
"The room was very clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the lake! We sat on the beach and watched the sunset! Relaxing on the porch was just what we needed! Beds were very comfortable!"
"I had mixed feelings about my visit to saranac lake but the hotel stay was wonderful. The towels were soft and plushy, linens were comfortable and so was the bed but the pillows could use a refresh. We stayed in a family suite and it definitely had more cabin vibes than hotel/inn. I enjoyed this property so the things I’m mentioning are just to put them out there, they are not complaints by any means. It can be quite loud in the suites- every shower my neighbors took sounded like we were in there and the walls are very thin so even a lot of normal level conversation carried over. If you are very sensitive to sounds and noise keep that in mind and pack earplugs.
They had the coolest amenities of anywhere I’ve ever stayed! We didn’t use them but they had 2 e-bikes to loan out. There were also 3 kayaks plus a child’s kayak. I borrowed one to use on the lake and it was wonderful. They are in walking distance of a lot of the town area and definitely biking distance for the rest. I would return here! There is so much of the surrounding area I’d like to see!"
