"Did not look anything like the picture when I booked. Had a door leading into onw of our rooms that had a note not to knock it unlock because other guest on other side. We checked out after 1 night. Manager on duty said we could get a refund so I contacted Expedia and they have tried to contact hotel on our behalf for refund and it's been a week to 2 weeks and still nothing ."

"The breakfast did not start until 630 and when you are going to a park, you have to get up early to beat the heat so most days we could not eat the breakfast. Yes they have laundry but it is 3.50 a load to wash and 3.50 a load to dry. They never cleaned the room in all the days we were there even though the sign in the room says every three days they clean. Excellent restaurants in town including the one associated with the hotel which unfortunately was not open the night I was there, Sunday. "The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great. Good lighting, amenities, shower, towels, and we seniors appreciated the non slip mat for the shower! Room lighting and electrical outlets were good. TV was good too. Breakfast was great! Eggs, sausage, cereals, muffins, waffles, yogurt, breads and English muffins, milk and juices, coffees etc. I would totally recommend this property."

"I loved that the laundry was free. We also woke up to a flat tire in our car. The owner was there and volunteered to fill our tire up for us. He recommended a place in town to get the tire fixed and we were able to get on our way in an hour. Small town and locally owned is the way to go! Thank you so much to the owner for helping us. That would not have happened in a chain hotel."
