"Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them. "

"宿自体はとてもキレイで快適だったが、残念ながら隣のEAST宿泊者に恵まれず不満が残った。特に畳の部屋が隣接しているようで、話の内容まで丸聞こえ。日付が変わっても宴会を続け、オーナーの奈良旅館に直接電話し注意してもらっても改善されず、結局眠気が勝るまで寝付けなかった。 尚案内メールに記載の携帯電話は夜間のためか繋がらず、ネットで調べた固定電話に電話して対応していただいた。その点においてコミュニケーションを星2とした。 宿自体、宿側の対応に落ち度はないだけにとても残念でした。"

"The Shikitei is right on the edge of Nara Park - essentially it is in the park. In terms of position it couldn't be better. It had all the comforts of a ryokan including a great onsen bath,, and wonderful staff. I can't recommend it more highly."

"We loved the 2nd floor lounge that guests had access to, even though our room was a generous size. It was equipped with toasters, microwave, filtered water, soft drinks, and hot drinks. Our breakfast was delivered to our room each day in little bento boxes - we chose to eat in the aforementioned lounge. The hotel has a wonderful modern Japanese vibe, the rooms were very stylish.
