"We had an ocean view room and it was perfect! The food and drinks were 10/10! We love the lobby bar and the coffee shop. The hotel smells amazing and is really beautiful. The staff is so kind and helpful. Josue was our lovely host and he put champagne and balloons in our room for my birthday and checked in with us everyday to see if we needed anything. All the pool servers were excellent, especially Uriel and Cony. My only complaint is I wish this hotel would STOP with the upsell push. It is egregious. People are exhausted after a long travel day and they make the checkin process way too long by making you sit in the lobby- while it is beautiful- and wait for at least 3 different people to come talk to you. We almost never came back after our first trip because of this. They did not attempt the sell job as bad as last time because I made it clear in my booking notes, but checkin still took almost 30 minutes and there was no other guests in the lobby. I highly suggest they stop doing this. It is a major turn off. Otherwise, the hotel and restaurants and staff are top notch!"

"This is an older resort but it is beautiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. You are immersed in nature with the deer, Coatis and monkeys!! The resort never felt crowded, not even the pools or lagoon. If anything could be improved it would be the food. Breakfast was great, buffet for lunch and dinner you could always find something. We did the Mexican, seafood and oriental à la carte. Mexican was NOT good, the other 2 were great. The food just didn’t stand out. We had one person in our group with celiac and they were more than accommodating! Staff is fantastic!"

"Our room was decent size. Double beds are a little too small for a couple. Rooms are cleaned daily. We don’t always get our water restocked though. But we just get them from the bars. I feel like the rooms and decor are a little dated but overall it’s still a pretty nice resort. Our butler/ concierge Cielo and David from White sand are very helpful. They helped us with all our reservations and bookings and just everything. The pools are nice and big and not crowded. We always managed to get lounge chairs by the pool. Most staff are friendly and helpful. There are a few at the swim up bar who are not that friendly. I guess it’s because everyone is swimming and no one can carry any cash for tipping. When we went in early March, the beach was full of seaweed. The staff is trying their best to clean it but it’s just too much. The only thing I would not recommend is going to the “presentation” about their time share. Unless you’re prepared to spend $50k, I don’t recommend attending. And there’s this one guy at the presentation, after we said no, he got pissed and just got up and left. Seriously not cool. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the resort to others. "

"We had a great time. We relaxed on the beach and by the pool for 4 days. The resort was clean, the room was nice and the staff were friendly. Only complaint is the pillows were too thick and too firm. Everything we enjoyed. "

"The beach has seaweed issues and the resort has restaurant reservation issues similar to most all-inclusives. But overall the place was nice, the pools were good, the staff was fantastic. The tequila floalwed, all is well"
