Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
6/10 Okay
"Good info to know - Parking deck level 3 is hotel floor 2 connected via a sky bridge.
Overall, I was disappointed. The lobby remodel is fantastic, but when I got to my room around 6:30 PM, there was a plate with silverware sitting on the floor next to the door. It remained there until I checked out the next morning as did a McDonald’s bag outside my neighbor’s room. There was also a coffee cup left on a ledge which was never cleaned up, too. The TV speaker crackled. There was no soap in my shower and no shampoo in my coworker’s shower. But the worst part was the doors. They slam shut. All night long, you hear them closing hard. I’m positive they could break a finger. The restaurant is slow and understaffed. Great potential here, poor execution. "

"This was a real hidden gem! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were more than we expected. I was extremely surprised to find Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom! (some times it's the little things). We would definitely stay here again!"
"Breakfast although complimentary can be a lot better. The waffles and potatoes were hard everyday. The yogurt bar wasn't fresh. Both apple and orange juice didn't taste well. There were soiled bowls with cleaned ones, more improperly cleaned. Rooms should have a microwave. The restaurant food wasn't too good, but priced fairly. Starbucks is conveniently attached to the building. The hotel was quiet and staff were amazing. The bar was very helpful. The room was clean and stocked with towels, toilet paper and toiletries. Out of the entire stay breakfast is 3/10. And everything else is 7/10. "

"A very clean, cute hotel with the most comfortable bed this weary traveler experienced! The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly & helpful. You’d be foolish to go elsewhere & spend more money. "
