"We had a standard room with a double bed with a massive en suite with walk in shower. We were on third floor no lifts as far as i could see, the stairs felt a bit dodgy in places and it felt as if they were sloping but it is a listed building. We did not use the spa services but did have a look and they appeared to be good. Not many big shops within the immediate vicinity so it would have been nice to have a little bit more information within the room"

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"We had a lovely two night stay, the pool was used, the grounds sunbathed in and the bar staff were most friendly and accommodating!! Bedroom’s air conditioning was a welcomed luxury! Have to be honest the food was “fine” - not all bad, but not review worthy… just ok all round. Considering there was a wedding and a birthday party, whilst staying the service was second to none!!! Would happily stay again."
