"Loved staying at the Inn on the Mile, great location, spacious room and bathroom, breakfasts were excellent, and the staff was great. It can be noisy at night from the street but that did not disrupt our stay."

"Difficult to move luggage since there is no elevator. Our room was on ground level with window facing a small alley. There were a couple of drunken incidents at late night made our room stay a bit uneasy. Especially the hotel has no manpower between 1am to 7am."

Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. "Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again."
