"We weren't expecting much but actually the staff were lovely, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was much better than most hotels we've stayed in, eg. Premier Inn, Hampton etc.

The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. "It was a last minute booking due to our original hotel cancelling the evening before the Coldplay concert. It was adequate, clean and comfortable however extremely overpriced and clearly the hotel was taking advantage of people visiting for the concert. I looked and tonight the evening after the same hotel room is 185 cheaper. "
