"Ace Hotel is away from the very touristy and busy center of Kyoto, yet is had a lot of restaurants and shops around it. If you are a good walker, you can walk to Kyoto Station, Nishiki Market and even the Imperial Palace. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is quite large and comfortable. There is a Stumptown Café downstairs."

"Nice hotel with great rooms. We got our rooms at a great price too. There’s a convenience store across the street and there are bus stations on every corner of the intersection where the hotel is - very convenient! Most food places are about a 10 minute walk towards Shin-Omiya station. Overall would consider coming back to this location! "

"Staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and had plenty of amenities. Hotel is in a good location, close to the main shopping districts and the park. Our only complaint would be that the TV was only Japanese live channels, not a smart TV, so the ability to log into Netflix or likewise would have been nice, otherwise there's nothing in English for tourists. Regardless, we would stay again."
