RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto
Useful free bus shuttle to station. Staff very courteous. Handy for station but perhaps a little too far from downtown Kyoto. Didn’t use pool as there was a substantial charge per person per session. Would have expected guest use for free.

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
This hotel is huge, and a nightmare because of all the tourist groups and their million suitcases that crowd the lobby. There are warning about "congestion at breakfast", so i had my coffee somewhere else .. The location was not very convenient, it's only good if your train arrives on that side of ...
