This hotel is beautiful the moment you step in, lobby on the 4th floor. I loved everything about this hotel except for my room was over on the side of what seemed to be a parking garage so you can hear cars pass and run over metal grate/plate clank. The headboard sits on the window wall so can’t do much about it. Location is great but if you decide to stay maybe ask for a room opposite side to the garage.

Lo bueno: El hotel es muy bonito, moderno y con una vibra zen que se aprecia desde el momento en que entras. Además, nos dieron un upgrade de habitación que agradecimos muchísimo. La ubicación es excelente: estás a pasos de tiendas, restaurantes y de una tienda departamental grande, lo cual hace la estadía muy conveniente para caminar y explorar Kioto. Lo malo: El desayuno fue una gran decepción. La variedad para huéspedes occidentales es muy limitada —no había selección de jamones, quesos, yogurt, ni opciones más internacionales. Los jugos no eran frescos y el café era bastante mediocre. Esto nos afectó porque, a pesar de tener los desayunos incluidos, la mayoría de los días preferimos ir al Starbucks a una cuadra para poder comer algo más acorde a nuestros gustos. Lo peor: Durante el viaje, debido al frío, mi esposo y yo nos enfermamos gravemente de gripe. En uno de los días más difíciles, pedimos ayuda al concierge para que nos apoyaran a agendar una cita médica cercana. Lamentablemente, el personal no estuvo a la altura: no nos ofrecieron opciones prácticas ni rápidas, y únicamente sugirieron acudir a un hospital, lo cual no era lo más conveniente en ese momento. Finalmente terminamos resolviendo por nuestra cuenta y agendando una cita en una clínica cercana donde sí pudimos recibir atención el mismo día. Estar enfermos lejos de casa ya es bastante estresante, y no contar con apoyo del hotel fue realmente decepcionante. Definitivamente es un punto que deberían mejorar,

Very clean room, considerate staff, lovely spa and lounge. The buffet breakfast at erutan was delicious and full of different options with clear markers for allergens and dietary restrictions. Got a wonderful aromatherapy massage at the spa. Loved the cocktail/charcuterie time at the lounge, was a wonderful way to end my day during my stay. The overall aesthetic of the hotel, with the lighting and the plants was beautiful. Glad I chose this hotel for my stay.

This hotel is an absolute dream in Kyoto. Reasonably priced and a huge bang for your buck. The rooms are comfortable and cozy without. being small. The service is exceptional at every turn. You're walkable to all the big must-see spots, without being in the heart of it to the point you can't relax. We had an amazing stay!

京都市街地のど真ん中にありながら、静かに心落ち着く空間を提供してくれる素敵なホテルでした。テラスルームで中庭に面しているので、周囲の喧騒は全く気にならず過ごせました。環境に配慮しているとのことでしたが、やはり歯ブラシはアメニティとしてマストなのではないかと思いサービスで減点1にしました。観光を楽しみたい方が多いと思いますが、レストランはもちろんジムは宿泊者が朝早くから夜遅くまで利用でき、健康志向の方にも整っていると思います。早朝の静かな京都の街並みを散歩することもでき貴重な体験ができました。

Excellent hotel in the heart of Kyoto. 9 restaurants and a health food market downstairs. Beautiful amenities, and the room we’ve stayed in was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The Concierge was always top-notch helpful. The access to the VIP lounge daily was a bonus. I’ve gotten an amazing massage from the spa. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Great hotel. Good location. Appreciated ground floor food shop and great restaurant choices. Only negative thing to say is traffic noise. We were on fifth floor, room on side of building and could hear constant beeping from zebra crossing. That said would definitely stay at this hotel again

Quiet hotel centrally located. Train station is one block away, staff speak English, eco-friendly, very large rooms that offer separate tub and shower, restaurants on site, and connected to a department store.
