This hotel takes the eco friendly a bit too far, the toilet paper is ultra thin so it keeps tearing every time you pull it. The laundry is really cheap and easy to do from the hotel. Its overall good value for money and the bed is very comfortable.

I stayed just one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient. Checkin was smooth and when I wanted to arrange to forward a bag, this was set up in minutes. Breakfast was varied and good. It was a great location. Extremely close to Kyoto station. The room is pretty tiny, but other than that, it was a perfect hotel. I highly recommend it.

I believe is the most convenient location for a few day in Kyoto, steps away from the main station, where you can get on a train anywhere in a couple minutes, all necessary amenities for a couple or solo traveler, clean, quiet.
