"Loved staying here for the cultural experience. It is very authentic - it makes you feel as if you have travelled back in time! There is a beautiful little garden and the o-furo is very relaxing. The futons were top quality super comfy too! The land-lady is very lovely and a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and even helped us with dressing in our kimono which we hired for the day. 100% recommend! "訂了酒店晚餐，質數不錯，但當中發生了小插曲，令我覺得踩中了地雷。晚餐地方中有一個放置飲品的地方，當中有水, 汽水, 咖啡及酒類都放到共兩張枱上，枱的付近都只有日本, 日本漢字，我只能看懂漢字是介紹飲品名稱, 眼見各人都紛紛去添飲，我們一家添了兩杯啤酒及兩杯汽水﹐突然間有服務員過來說要收飲品費用, 我跟他說出面没寫收費﹐入坐時也没說. 他只說一句對不起, 是要付費的. 没辦法, 我們的確喝了, 也得付費, 但這樣安排好像是要讓客人踩進陷井似的, 感覺不老實! "+ve: This is very cheap when you can rent the whole house. Close to many tourist attractions (Kiyomizu Temple) Free early check in if requested. -ve: 2 levels house but the stairs are not inside the house. You need to go outside to go to another level. Not easy to find. No signage for the house. Luckily, we went there in the day time so that we can seek the help from the neighbours."
