We had a great stay at the Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo Karasuma. Staff was wonderful and rooms were very clean and roomier than the hotel we had in Tokyo. One room unfortunately had zero view out the window - the glass was even opaque. The amenities were very nice and the hotel was spotless and nicely decorated.

Hotel was in a great location. Staff were lovely and very helpful especially organizing a day of golf for our group (highly recommend Kyoto Ohara golf course 10/10). The bathroom was a bit musty smelling. Another great help were the washer/dryer in our room. Soap was even provided.

This was my favorite hotel that we stayed in during our Japan trip. The rooms are so clean and spacious. It is at walking distance from popular sites. Staff was so helpful and kind. Totally recommend!
