"The pool is very enjoyable. We were able to get seats by the pool easily every single day and were able to jump to all the different ones. It’s a very big resort. It’s a lot of walking was done, but we thought that it helped us walk off all the food and drinks we were having our boy really love the kids club and wanted to go back a few days in a row, which gave us time to go to the casino and things where children weren’t allowed."

"Overall, we had a very mixed experience. The location is good and the beach area is very nice. The pool is huge and the resort is quite large overall. They keep the grounds groomed and seem to handle the number of guests very well. Generally the staff were kind. Thankfully, we were not hounded to sign up for the timeshare. Only once approached about the “VIP club experience”, but he quickly accepted a no-thank-you answer. The room was adequate. A little outdated, but not terribly so. It shows its age and isn’t as clean looking as I would have liked. We had a family suite with two full beds, and they filled the space they were in, requiring a person to get off the bottom of the bed. The bathroom was probably the worst. There was no working fan, so showers made the whole suite sticky humid. The shower was really good, with excellent water pressure. If I brought little kids, I would’ve been worried because the hot water got hot enough to scald. The food was mediocre. The buffet had mostly the same things at every meal, and the options weren’t great. It’s the only option because the specialty restaurants are impossible to get in to. The French, Italian and Steakhouse restaurants were booked for every night we were there by the time we arrived. We walked by at night, and they were rarely more than half full. Frustrating. Worst of all, two of our party got mild food poisoning. We only ate at the resort, so I know where it came from. Not terrible, but I won’t be going back. "

"We had major room issues, bathroom door would not shut, and when we let staff know they dismissed us, never sent anyone to fix it. Room was also damp and there was rust all over fixtures. After three days of complaining, they finally moved us and then the next morning we woke to water coming down from fixtures, my bed was soaking, water all over the floor and coffee table. Told the front desk and they just said ok. "

"Tuvimos una bellisima experiencia en familia en este hotel. Hector Matos se encargó de todo;, reservciones en restaurantes de especialidad, tours, taxis al aeropuerto , muy agradecida por su atención. La variedad de comida muy buena y habitaciones muy cómodas. Mi única queja es que el Hotel deberia preocuparse por castrar a las gatas qué andan en la propiedad. Definitivamente son un gran atractivo para los turistas como yo que somos amantes de los anímales. Pero es una lástima ver varias gatitas embarazadas. Por lo demas, todo perfecto "

"Really awesome resort overall. Excellent grounds and friendly staff. Sargassum was cleaned very well to the point where it was barely noticed. Pool temps were perfect, drinks were delicious, and overall a very relaxing place to be. Here is what I think can be improved upon: Lights in the rooms were spotty - a lot of flickering going on. I also had one night where my hot water did not work and I had to take a cold shower. Food was overall good but inconsistent. We found that some restaurants were way better than others. We loved our food at Culinaria but were not that impressed by Coquette. The hibachi was okay."
