"Food was terrible.
Some staff were rude.
The towels smelt horribly.
Very little purified water.
On a brighter note, rooms were clean, housekeeping was quick. Resort was very well taken care of, beach was amazing."
Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"My experience at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana started off very poorly due to an extremely frustrating and poorly handled check-in process. A day before arrival, I requested an early check-in at 2 PM since I was traveling with an infant. I understood it wasn’t guaranteed, so when I arrived and was told the room would be ready by 3:00–3:15 PM, I was fine waiting. However, when I returned, I was repeatedly told the room was still not ready and asked to wait longer—first 40 minutes, then more time—with no clear explanation or honesty.
What made this worse was the lack of transparency and urgency from the staff. I had a tired and hungry infant with me, yet no effort was made to assist or communicate properly. After pushing back, I was offered another room and assured it had the poolside view I paid for. This turned out to be false, as the room faced a small pond instead.
Only after further arguments did I finally receive the correct room around 5 PM—two hours after the promised time. This felt misleading and unprofessional.
Although the resort itself was otherwise good, this experience left a lasting negative impression. Delays can happen, but poor communication and dishonesty are unacceptable. I would not recommend this resort based on how this was handled."
"Muy buen servicio, tuve un problema con el cuarto y lo notifiqué y en lo que fui a comer ya estaba resuelto. Todos muy amables y todos los servicios funcionaban."
"The ME property is well-kept, clean and very easy to maneuver. The room was much better than most and the staff were all polite and very helpful. The only negative about our stay here is the food at the buffet is average while the food at the specialty restaurants was good, but not outstanding. Overall, a very good resort which I recommend."
