"Beautifully maintained property, quite stunning from a distance. The room and bathroom were excellent, spacious and with every facility. The inclusive breakfast was brilliant value included within the room rate. The receptionist when we arrived Sat evening was great and knew what he was doing. They are obviously training new staff which did lead to long waits at the bar and the reception in the morning but all in all everyone was kind and helpful. "The property is quirky and has a boutique feel in a very attractive building. However the room was not well maintained with a cracked pane of glass in the window, grubby corners, badly marked paintwork. Having booked the room online and seen it - I was not advised that the room was in the attic, and that there were 2 flights of stairs to access it. the second one being very steep and narrow. If I had been given this information I would not have booked this room. The parking was good and well...

The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. "Enjoyable stay but bed mattress needs replacing in room 409 as it sinks in the middle so not a great nights sleep was had, and the cooked breakfast was a bit tasteless and we couldn’t cut into the hash browns! Not sure we’d stay there again until our issues were addressed."

"Clean and presentable room. Good shower in the room. The big downfall was the air con was flashing a service light and not working and other guests reported the same issue. No windows to open so the room was uncomfortably hot during the night"
