"We arrived later in the evening. The woman at the front desk checked us in and told me that I would love the room she had assigned us. The room was a multi-purpose room. It appears that is doubles as a reception room. There were double doors to enter the room and upon opening them, there was a very strong smelling unpleasant odor. "Very nice owners with a very comfortable bed, room and fantastic breakfast. We had a group with three of the rooms and everyone was happy."

"The room was in poor condition - cracks in the flooring and the window was painted shut. Insufficient security locks on the door inside the hotel room. A big sign in the parking lot that hotel is not responsible for auto break-ins or theft. Did not make me feel safe. The room smelled a bit of old socks. The breakfast was spartan. The bed and bedding were fine. Managed to get some sleep."

"Property is dated. There is musty, mildew smell throughout the hotel and especially in our room’s bathroom. Ownership is cheap and could have at least changed shower curtains regularly. Horrible value for price paid of over $350 per night."

You can pay more to getmore... but to crash for a niteand get on with your travels.. I highly recommend this place. We stay here 2-3 times a year based on out travel goals."

"The rooms were clean. The only issue we had the AC did not work but they brought a portable AC unit in and that worked great. The hotel is a little dated but not a deterrent. There is a large homeless population just down the street. But that is every where you go in Anchorage in our adventures through the city."

"Showed up after a late flight and room was not available. Someone did answer the phone when I called which was appreciated. Some advanced notification would have been helpful. It left us without a room after a late flight. The location did not match the Expedia photos. The address was in a run down part of town with no signage."

"This did not feel like a safe building or area. Room was bare bones but not particularly clean, and the deadbolt had been removed from the interior of the door. Would not have felt safe without my husband also there, and even so we almost changed hotels last second."

"Great place. to stay if you're used to occasionally having community bathroom. Some of the units have individual bathrooms, but you have to make sure you book it that way. Great place to stay in Anchorage, Alaska, Especially since you're only really there to sleep because of all the activities. Centrally located easy access to everything in town. Friendly staff self-use community kitchen."
