"Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

"If traveling by car, this is a splendid place to stay in the Duro Valley. Staff and room were very nice. A wonderful breakfast was included, which seems to be a vanishing practice in Europe these days. The hotel offers diner (not included) as well. The town of Tabuaco is quite small so dining options near by are limited. We would stay there again."

"El hotel es precioso, nos recibió María, la dueña, y no puede ser más maravillosa, siempre con una sonrisa y pendiente de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto. El desayuno preparado por ella misma, fue increíble, con zumo natural, fruta fresca, bollería... También estaba José, el dueño, un hombre tan encantador como su mujer y pendiente siempre de que estuviésemos a gusto. La habitación super amplia y con todo detalle. Sin duda, repetiremos!!"
