"Well decorated, comfortable room. Good amenities tray. Ensuite bathroom was large and clean. Everything cleaned, tidied and replenished by housekeeping to high standard.
Amiable, professional staff. All smart in appearance.
Breakfast was excellent with good selection of cereals, pastries, fruits, yoghurt etc and a choice of foods cooked to order.
Somewhat limited choice of food in Brasserie, eg only one steak, quality and presentation not as expected for price.
Lunch menu - outside terrace and conservatory- unfortunately also expensive, eg £36 for Ploughman's to share, for both the quantity and quality delivered.
Beautiful location, convenient for exploring the Lakes by car, boat and steam train."
