"Hotel is a little dated and tatty round the edges. But it’s clean and tidy. It does need a bit of TLC. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free but it didn’t reach our room fully so that was a bit of a negative. Overall a comfortable stay, the place just needs a little spruce up! "

Getting a little old in parts and was a little smoky and musty in parts- but this wouldn’t stop us from staying again. We loved the village of wetheral and found Carlisle a short drive away for supplies. "
