"Had a wonderful stay at Fiesta Americana. Staff was very attentive, tipping culture is very big! The children’s play room wasn’t what I was expecting, needs to be cleaned and updated - smelled musty (possibly had mold). It’s an all inclusive resort, restaurants are okay - drinks could and should be upgraded as their selection is bottom shelf and only beers are Tecate and Indio."

"Everything was outstanding. My thermostat unit turned off and never came back on but I didn’t tell the staff. The DJ at the pool could turn down the volume a tad. Otherwise the food was excellent, thd bed comfortable, and the shower in my bathroom was outstanding. It was a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. It’s very close to the beach and the main city area."

"I was not allowed in my room. Expedia you did not include me in my reservation. I richard torres was waiting for my room 3 and a half hours after my chek in exhausted in the heat. Was the wife that has diabetes? Luis escobedo and rosa chaves where my guests and on top of that. I got charged. 37000 pesos. We really need to get ahold of you."

"We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years. We have always enjoyed our stay. There are several amazing staff members - yet over the years, we have seen that the overall experience is inconsistent and dependent upon who you are interacting with. The Studio Suite which costs more than a standard room was not equipped as pictured. We needed to request a dresser to store our clothing. There was a coffee maker but no coffee provided. And hot water for the shower was scarce. Checking in was not positive- but the bellboys were amazing and probably some of the most accommodating and helpful people at the resort. Food didn’t provide many choices, I am gluten free and the chefs were very accommodating and prepared special meals for me. The young woman hostess was amazing - I use a wheelchair and she assisted with genuine pleasure. The restaurant people worth mentioning was Captain Julio Cesar and Manager Ulises and the server Victor. Our maid was also amazing. Canto del Sol will always be one of our favorite places for many reasons - but there has definitely been a decline over the years."

"Downgraded upon arrival, to two full beds, when a king single was reserved. Room was cleaned promptly upon request. Pool was nice, would be better if kids didn’t take up all the bar at the pool. Was harassed upon arrival to upgrade and buy extra amenities offered by hotel. Taxi service was safe and prompt. Breakfast was a huge all you can eat buffet, very generic covering all different food types and groups. "
