For a luxury property there was a ton of miscommunication between staff and departments. We were told incorrect information regarding hours of operations and service availability. We were told the pool was open three times prior to arriving and upon arriving. Upon entering the pool, it was not open as promised earlier that day. We were told the pool management does not communicate well with the staff at reports world and they apologized to us. It’s unfortunate that a luxury property like this is not capable of managing communications between amenities included in the resort fee. Additionally we were advised that we may check out late due to the miscommunications throughout our stay and once again we were bombarded with phone calls from the front desk that started at 12pm asking us to leave even though the front desk exchanged my key at 8 am in morning and told me we may check out at 1pm. Immediately afterwards we had the housekeeping staff banging on our door which happened at least 3 times between 11:45-1230. Clearly they also lacked any clear communication. Following that we received more calls from the front desk letting us know there was an additional $100 charge for late check out. We spent a large part of our trip just communicating to staff on behalf of the other staff which isn’t what we expected from our stay at the Crockfords. 
The fitness center was not staffed and the pool had no service attendants working besides lifeguards
