"Grass was not cut in the back of the motel, gave an unkept look. The room had drastic temp changes. Clerk was nice. The breakfast was as expected."

"There were bugs in the room, the toilet handle was loose, the door was not even and you could see daylight underneath the door way. Breakfast the next morning was 2 bananas, batter for waffles was not enough for 2 waffles, orange juice machine was broken, pitcher with apple juice sucked, no yogurt, no toast, no eggs, bacon I told owner about the roach, broken handle- no reaction, asked if that was all for breakfast, said “that’s it”. I wish I could have gotten my $ back. Never again will we stay at a Super 8 or any property that is run by a foreigner. They are cheap ass business owners who are only in business for the money and not customer service. They only do the bare minimum."

"The hotel was new and had a fresh smell. The room was clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable and the A/C cooled the room nicely. The parking lot was almost full and due to the large amount of guests, the entry was quite dirty yet the attendant who had access to a broom didn’t seem concerned about the negative appearance this gave to the hotel. Upon arrival I used the luggage cart in the lobby and noticed that the top had been installed upside down so the portion for hanging clothes wasn’t accessible and the entire top was loose and rattled a lot. When I arrived on my floor, and entered the main hallway, I saw that the exit sign and its emergency light were hanging from the ceiling by the wires. When I returned the luggage cart to the lobby, I asked the attendant about the cart and the Exit sign and emergency light that were hanging by the wires. He said due to the low height of the ceiling in the hall, the luggage cart struck the sign and broke it loose from the ceiling but they hadn’t taken the time to fix either the cart or the exit sign. There were also 2 extra long boxes that had been delivered near the lobby entrance and also did not make a good first impression."

"Our room toilet did not flush and we lost water pressure in the morning while in the shower..... other than that it was a nice property."

"I appreciated the historical information shared about this property (found in a notebook in my room. The house is somewhat secluded behind a good deal of shrubbery/trees, which adds a sense of seclusion and mystery. It is large, neat, and cool, with 24/7 coffee and beverages available. Privacy was respected. 5 bedrooms are upstairs so it is important to know there are stairs if mobility is an issue. Staff was responsive to any questions and/or needs. The pool was beautiful, and lit with pretty lights after dark. Breakfast the 3 mornings I was there, was prompt and delicious, served in a charming dining room. At least 2 cats roam the property. They kept their distance and appeared old and wise. I will stay again, no question about it."
