"We had several issues with card key access - we had three different cards and spent a total of around 20 mins trying to get into the room across 3 separate occasions. Staff were helpful with this and it was appreciated. When booking it said there was a separate bathroom: there was not. The shower was in the bedroom itself and was not suitable for our needs, so neither of us used it. I’ve never ever stayed in a hotel with no tea and coffee facilities in the room. There’s a (paid) coffee machine in reception but I wasn’t able to use this (dairy allergy/cross contamination risk). In the morning my kid went to get a coffee - we had no idea what the protocol was - whilst I queued to pay for it. I shouted to confirm it was a medium coffee so I thought it was what was happening, but then after I paid one of the staff turned up with another coffee! I apologised for the misunderstanding as I felt I had to, even though the misunderstanding was not mine. Communication overall was not great. There was a picture above the bed that looked wet in places and it was full of dirty marks. The floor of the lift was also very dirty. Bedding was really light, comfortable and warm. "

"Second stay, we had a bad experience firt time due to a dirty room, broken air conditioning, and shower, body wash hair shampoo missing from the bathroom. Rang and spoke to reception before arrival asking for there to checks done. We arrived and got an earlier check in due as the room was ready brilliant, got up to the room nice and clean 👌 brilliant. Unpacked and went out. Got back jumped onto the shower to find no conditioner and very little hair shampoo, rectified next day as we spoke to reception. Air conditioning set to 18 deg but room was hot again raised with reception and given a fan that registers 22 and for the 2 day we where there it never went lower even set at 18 too hot to have a good night's sleep. Apparently all the mattresses where changed last year by gad there hard had to ask for a topper to soften it up to get a better nights sleep due to the back and hip pain in the morning second night was better just too hot. M lounge quality has dropped in the 18 months from the last visit, Jams gone to cheaper brands cerial range dropped breakfast range smaller lack of hash browns. Friday cakes and afternoon tea where stail and then Apparently not available sat or sunday. Disappointed with a return visit, coming home tired, frustrated and fed up that even with a call to raise issues beforehand and apparently ignored 🙁 😔. Lovely position in town "

"Everything was great for the price, but my crooked neck does not thank your super tall pillows!! I asked for another kind and none existed. Please, have a variety of pillows, especially if you give 2 per guest anyway."

"Good centrally located hotel, 10 minutes from the station. The room i had was large and well presented but no shampoo or handwash in the bathroom. Staff were accommodating letting a large group leave bags before check in. "

"The car park had plenty of spaces when we arrived at about 12.15 on a saturday. It was easy to pay when we were leaving. Our room was ready and the reception team let us check in early which was really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. I'd requested a travel cot in the room and really appreciated that this had been seen and the cot was ready before we arrived. We had breakfast the next morning - we went about 8am and it was quiet, it got more busy as we were leaving. The staff were constantly cleaning up and replenishing the food. Our 3rd stay here and we'll definitely be back next time we visit Leeds"
