"This is a quaint hotel on the Main Street of Guildford. It is a fairly old and creaky establishment but this, along with the delightful couple that run the hotel, add to its charm. My room was extremely spacious and well appointed. There is a good and popular restaurant downstairs and a rather surprising Cabaret/Bar called ‘Fallen Angel’ on site. "Very clean and spacious room. Very friendly welcome, nice touch with the robes and drinks in fridge in the room. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly bar chap called Ryan very welcoming and made good cocktails certainly worth trying. "

"This is a lovely old building is close to everything on the sea front - 5 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard (it has close views of the Spinnaker, the harbour, and HMS Warrior). The bus and train stations are across the road, and the shopping centre is no more than 10 minutes away. Add the free car park, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and comfortable rooms, plus the big choice of places to eat within half a mile, and you have the ideal hotel to stay in when visiting the Portsmouth area."
