"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"Great central location to stay while visiting numerous tourist sites in the area. Spa, pool and gym are all added bonuses. Could do with better pillows in the rooms"
