"The room was a good size and spacoius, large bed with good facilities, the only thing that let it down was the smell from the drains, but that could be to do with the hot weather we’ve had recently."

"The room was cleaned every day staff were very nice we didn’t have the breakfast we were told that breakfast was very good evening meal was very good also bar meals were good. From the queen hotel to the city centre it only takes about 20mins the city centre is lovely lots to see and to explore"

"The service was lovely. We paid for a water view but didn’t get the benefit due to the scaffolding. The food was reasonably priced for an evening meal and excellent quality more so for gluten free food. There wasn’t much gluten free options for an evening meal or breakfast - no pastries or croissants which is a shame. The leisure facilities are really worn, the changing rooms are weren’t very clean. There was leaks into the swimming pool."

"Loved this country house hotel. Very charming and close proximity to Chester and its zoo. Only 30 mins away from Manchester Airport so would definitely consider staying here if flying from there. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Has its own restaurant but we didn’t eat here as some lovely local places to sample. Staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable and cosy. Would certainly recommend. Breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked and plentiful"

"The place does the job if you are a tired traveler .but be very carefully of the food service here it is really bad quality and served cold and not edible .I would just wonder over to the coop store and get your self a bit of food there at least you can see what you are getting for you money . The teenager cooking the food at the lodging main desk seemed not to care about the condition of how the food was sent out and I did not bother making a sean about it ,I calculated it was just a lost...

"Very disappointed with our stay. Very tired building, total lack of parking, just got told to look on the surrounding streets. Room was very small and being overseas visitors, no room for our suitcases. But the main issue was the bed, so uncomfortable and noisy just to turn over in. We didn’t book for price, we booked for location and parking, wish we had read the reviews properly first."
