"We had an absolute terrible experience. We book for one night to attend my young daughter’s early morning soccer tournament. At 2 am someone was knocking at our door viciously and yelling. The person would not stop me we could not reach via phone anyone at the reception and we could not leave the room because we didn’t know if the person was armed or if there was another person around. It was a very scary experience from all of us. Specially my young daughter. After over 10 minutes we finally got a hold of the someone at the reception. No one came to talk to us nor to apologize for it. I went to the front desk next day to talk about and the employee said the manager would call me but she never did. We paid to sleep for 1 night and NO ONE slept a thing after the incident. Do not go to this property. Not safe."

"Breakfast items fresh and ran a little bit later which was good. Just the room we stayed in the pull out mattress by the sofa was stain. Other than that the room was clean."

"Room was clean. the Check in staff took 45 mins for person and showed up with 12 people. So this was a nightmare. And everyone's room was different pricing even though they all booked on hotels.com. There were people with lower rooms that were $100 more than the higher rooms and the front desk person could answer no ones's questions. We were there for 4 days and no one cleaned the room once. They did show up and offer me clean towels once."

"You're right on High Street, so it was loud. Hard to fall asleep. In room instant coffee not good. Rooms are small. Overall, just OK."

"Room was fine but the AC was not working. It said it was lowering the temp but it never cooled down and we could not sleep. Test your AC unit early to make sure it’s actually cooling the room! Bar/restaurant was busy and only one person working. We ended up leaving because of wait on service.. not at all the fault of the bartender who was having to serve the whole restaurant alone!"

"This hotel must be transitioning ownership as it is seriously understaffed for its size and was practically empty. I will say the people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the location was safe and good for my needs. There was lots of street parking available over the weekend. I would stay here again. "

"The Blackwell was absolutely stunning and beautiful. The room was extremely clean as was the entire hotel. I wish I would have been able to spend more time at the hotel. I will definitely be staying here in the future. ♥️🩶"
